Yum yum yum

Mackinac Island wouldn't be the same without fudge. Any flavor will do for me. This is the place to be.

My husband bought a box of peanut brittle and we quickly found that there was not enough peanuts in the peanut brittle. We were able to break off full bite size pieces and not have a single peanut in the brittle. Had we bought just brittle, this would make sense. Unfortunately, this was pre-boxed brittle so we were unable to... More

I thought for a while that buying fudge was the dumbest tourist thing you could possibly do. Then I got conned into paying $54 for a child's t-shirt by the crooks next door at Foxy. Thank heavens I had my double chocolate caramel with sea salt to help me forget my troubles. It's fun to watch them make the fudge... More

First time To Mackinac Island and although we don't normally buy candy, we had to take some home to try. We purchased several pieces for my husband to give to co-workers and a few for ourselves. We tried the turtle and the macadamia. They were both good, but the turtle was exceptionial. This is not cheap fudge and honestly I... More

We were told to go there to get our fudge because it's the best in town. We got original chocolate and cookies and cream. Both are very tasty but I'd stick with the original chocolate fudge. Clean establishment. The gal behind the counter seemed very annoyed we came in after 8pm and was not helpful when we were asking about... More

we tried a couple different places and they were all good but this was the best! I ended up buying half a slice of chocolate caramel and half a slice of chocolate mint. it was not an easy choice because they all looked fantastic. we will definitely be going back!

After sampling fudge at almost every shop on Mackinac, I decided to buy from Murdicks. Their double chocolate dark fudge is the best chocolate fudge I've ever had. It is so delicious! However their peanut butter fudge was not as good as some of the other samples I tried. It did not taste like peanut butter at all. Murdicks is... More

We have been going up to MI all our lives and not sure why we didn't try Murdick's. Their salted caramel double chocolate was to die for and had better chocolate-y taste than my mom's (who makes the best fudge, by the way). Their customer service people were wonderful, dividing up my crazy order in just the right way. They... More

This is where it all started. Of course, we have to buy our fudge from Murdick's. They offer a fair deal of 5 slices for $29. Each slice sells for around $8. They package the fudge nicely and put it in a beautiful, sealed box. We bought 2 plain chocolate, vanilla, vanilla with chocolate chips, and chocolate peanut butter. They... More
