We took the whole island Horse Carriage tour. Arch Rock is one of the stops. After seeing Arches National Park, this arch is very small but up a couple of flights of stairs and there are lovely views of the islands beaches.

A short hike through the woods takes you from Fort Mackinac to Arch Rock, and well worth it! Breathtaking view of the lake close to the arch is picture perfect.

Not worth the climb. The view of the arch from the road is better that the view of the road from the arch.

I do not think they should have any trouble it is on an open trail down from the fort. Many young adults and kids are out at the Arch the past two times we were there. It is definitely worth the trip and youth friendly.

I don't think the things on the island actually open until May, and the other reviewer is correct that it seems like Memorial Day is the time it really kicks off. Keep in mind that they still get snow in April since they... More
