New Winery thats doing it right.

A great new tasting room in downtown Leland from a somewhat new winery. The building is a neat building and the interior is just as fun. They have a large variety of wines. Along... read more

I have had several terrible experiences with Verterra Winery in the last few months. First, I joined this wine club last spring. My husband and I frequently go wine tasting in this area and we thought it was a good idea to join a wine club here. Third week of September I was charged $140 for our shipment. Second week... More

A great new tasting room in downtown Leland from a somewhat new winery. The building is a neat building and the interior is just as fun. They have a large variety of wines. Along with fruit wines and multiple hard ciders. The tastings cost $5 for 5. However they take 1 tasting off if you buy 3 bottles. That's very... More

The wine is absolutely amazing and the cider is my favorite in the county! I love the dry Rose, Unoaked Chard and the Chaos Red Cuvee. Love the feel of the tasting room and how knowledgeable the staff is. You don't get that everywhere!

Not everyone is a wine lover. So I really appreciated the variety. I sampled 3 wines and 3 hard ciders. I purchased 2 of the ciders. Loved the dessert wine but its a bit pricey for me. Fun place, Reasonable prices. Great customer service.

We enjoyed the wine and ciders. Most of all, the staff was knowledgeable about their items. Also gave us other ideas on locations we should hit up! Small, not fancy, but worth the stop and tastes!

We walked in only because we happened to park in front of their store. You will find good quality Michigan wines. We liked the Chardonnay

The wine is excellent, don't get me wrong. However, recently, they have been charging for everything and raising the prices of their wine. I always have to remind them to take off the tasting fee when I buy more than 3 bottles of wine. Their ciders are one of the best around though.

A couple years ago, we had been to Traverse City Wine and Arts festival and had tried a wine called Chaos, that we really loved, but didn't buy any bottles then. Finally made it back to Traverse City area, typed in Chaos wine on our smart phone, and it told us the winery was Verterra Winery. Made the drive there,... More

Great Michigan wines at great prices! We had a lovely tasting and then bought a few bottles. Everything we had was wonderful. We've become members of their wine club and they ship wine right to your door! Glad we stopped in!

The owner has passion and knows wine. Has family wine maker with Washington wine making experience. This isn't your sweet cherry wine stop. Go for the wines with finesse. Up and coming winery.
