Enjoyed the tour, learned a lot about thecDodge Family and early Lansing history. To take the full tour you need to be able to climb stairs. In the summer there is no air conditioning so I can be quite oppressively hot inside.

I toured this place with the cub scouts and my son attended several camps here as a young child. This is beautiful at Christmas time. It is a smaller museum but worth it I felt. In the summer time the gardens are beautiful and it is along the river trail. It has been some time since I have been here... More

I honestly love going to Turner-Dodge House because of the artifacts that you can find and it's decorated as if the people that lived there waaaaaaaaay back, just left the house and everything in it for you to see... The rooms, furniture and everything. I hope that they will consider making it more accessible to those with physical limitations (at... More

The Lansing river trail ends at the museum. You can ride along the river south to MSU camps for a 20 mile round trip. Wonderful home like other reviews

My wife and I visited the Turner-Dodge House on January 2nd to see both the house and Christmas trees. They had 55 trees made by various local clubs, groups and businesses. Some were very unique. The house itself is beautiful. We enjoyed going through the rooms on all three floors. We plan on returning to have the narrated tour they... More

This is a great place to stop for local history. My visit was during the Festival of Trees exhibit featuring local establishments entries throughout the house. It enhanced the experience but the home is very nice on its own.

We held our daughters sweet sixteen here and it was perfect! We had the whole place to ourselves but really only needed 3 areas. We were able to decorate how we wanted and it's just lovely year round. Go in December to see Festival of Trees.

I've been visiting this home since childhood. Its fun to walk the beautifully furnished rooms. The gardens are nice for pictures. Its pretty event oriented. The attic serves as a multi purpose space.

I love touring historic homes especially at Christmas time when they are decorated for the season. In the past, I have been here for tea but this time we visited the Turner Dodge House during its Third Annual Festival of Trees. There were over 30 decorated Christmas trees throughout the three floors. Each tree is uniquely decorated. The Christmas lights... More
