Great place very accommodating for our meeting. The tours of the exhibits were fantastic. They have craft/art classes taught by artists in the craft. Well worth a trip.

This institute is known in Kalamazoo as KIA which is kind of wrong for those of us in the Vietnam era. Great place to go for a relaxing time and to see some great art! Kalamazoo is big with the arts and this does not...More

The cost to see the exhibits, was very reasonable, and there was a donation box, which we gladly contributed to, as well. We ventured into the hand-blown glass exhibit and were delighted to see some of the most exquisite, rare, and wonderful pieces of hand-made...More

It had a few good pieces, but lack luster overall. Paying admission and not just donation was disappointing for such a small museum. The docents were hardcore and didn't like people lingering too long or too close to any piece. I felt it derailed from...More

The very best place is The Kalamazoo House, a most wonderful B&B right next to the KAI. It is also walking distance to downtown, so, don't forget to have a dinner at Rustica!
