Found this place on TripAdvisor when looking for things to do in Kalamazoo. Went with two friends to get a few treats. We fell in love with Dale and Amy (the owner and his 87 year old mom). Dave is so passionate about each truffle and caramel and described each one to us (I think there was at least 75... More

Everyone knows the line " you had me at hello ". Confections with convictions had me at " first time visitors get a free chocolate ". I was hooked! The variety of chocolates available and use of pure ingredients combined with the owners conviction to help community members get back on their feet is a win-win. You can't go wrong... More

I recently had a birthday, and asked for Confections with Conviction caramels. Never before have I tasted such complex and delicious chocolates with the added essence of loving creation included. Each piece is decorated with special markings, denoting its contents. The chocolatier marks a "scorecard" of what is in the box, and trust me, EVERY one is a winner. Knowing... More

Dave and his mother Amy are very friendly and helpful and they have a smile for everyone. The truffles are exceptional and well worth the trip. I highly recommend this shop for both the quality of the confections and the owners convictions. I give it 5 stars.

This place is a gem in Kalamazoo! The chocolates are absolutely delicious. One thing other reviewers have not mentioned is the incredible variety which is in the display case every day. There are dark chocolate truffles, milk chocolate truffles, white chocolate truffles, and caramels enrobed in dark or light or white chocolate. You can order your own box from dozens... More

These chocolate creations look and taste the best. They are the best because the chocolates are made with fresh, quality ingredients. If you enjoy good chocolates this is the place for you! PS: Visit the Victorian Bakery located next door in the same building.

The chocolates are creatively made with fair trade quality ingredients, by people sharing a vision of community service. I took them as a gift to my friends in Europe who are used to very good chocolate and they raved about them.

One of my favorite shops in Kalamazoo! Fantastic chocolates made with flair and to a very high standard. Loved the miso-chocolate truffle!
