Deceiving name. Just water flowing down a concrete wall with lights on it! Not a natural waterfall or even an attempt to make it look like a real waterfall. Disappointing !

It's a great place to take a date or to take the family. Later in June there will be a water pad for children to play on. The lagoon looks terrible but I hear there are plans to clean that area up.e

I rated this attraction Very Good as Jaxkson is a small city and the attractions are limited. The Cascades are special to us as my husband is from Jackson and they are located very close to his childhood home. Built in the 1930's, it was...More

The park offers a great walking path, pavilions, band shell, kids play grounds, an ice cream shop and the beautiful waterfall.

The Falls are fun for all ages, and the stairs are great for some exercise. Do be prepared to get a bit damp, especially if there is a breeze.

You have your choice of walking around the falls (be prepared to get a little wet). And listening to the music and watching the colors of the falls change. It is Beautiful. People drive from all over the U.S. to see the falls. Kids water...More

Have been here many times. So nice with the walks, water, play areas, and the water fall. A little out of the way but a nice day with the family

I used to go here when I was a kid for 4th of July. At night the lights come on, multi-colored and coordinated to the music. They tend to have live music shows on 4th of July at the bottom of the falls. It's really...More

Sorry for taking so long to answer your question. The park is always open but the falls don't operate except between memorial day- labor day.
Are the falls free and is it open every night or just weekends?

No, the falls are not free, but very reasonably priced. I believe a family admission is $10 for the entire family. Yes, the Cascades are open every night in the summer.
Are there chairs to watch the fireworks on 7/3 or do we need to bring them? What is the admission cost?

There is seating available within the foundation itself but you would have to get there plenty early because it fills up QUICK. Admission on Fireworks night is $7 and children 10 and under are free. Most of the visitors on... More
