We weren't sure what to expect. It was a sad Sunday afternoon I guess. We went into the garden centre no one greeted us, we wandered around for about 15 minutes while workers tended to someone working with the bison meat. Finally when we were...More

The flowers were lovely. I must admit, however, most of my time was spent in one of the shops buying plants, i.e. roots and tubers, plus wind chimes and bird houses. The selection was enormous and prices were great. I wasn't impressed, however, with the...More

we visited the weekend after the tulip festival. due to the unusually warm spring all but 2% of windmill garden tulips were gone, fortunately about half of veldheer tulips were still blooming and admission was discounted to only $5.

There was nothing wrong with this stop, it just wasn't what I was expecting. From the amount of advertising I would have expected it to be very large and elaborate. Unfortunately it was small and in need of some TLC.

I was here on May 13th and the tulips were almost done blooming and I was disappointed. It seems like they should stop selling tickets when this happens or give one a reduced rate.I understand mother nature has a mind of its own.

Our tour bus group was generally not overly impressed with this attraction. It was worth only a brief stay to see the wide variety of tulips. The grounds were not maintained as well as they could have been. Could have been enhanced with a coofee/tea...More

My daughter and I attended our first ever Holland Tulip Festival, and Veldheer's was advertised in the city's tulip guide map as the tulip viewing venue with the most blooms (by far) of all participants. Veldheer's grows over 5 million tulips of 800 varieties on...More

We went to this farm garden with the sole purpose of purchasing bulbs. We had been told they had some for sale. Well, they do to an extent. They have quite a few pictures of tulips on the wall. You order what you want and...More

I was a bit hesitant to visit given some of the recent reviews concerning the state of the flowers and the $9 entrance fee. I think the thing folks forget is this nature at it's best. Yes some flowers were at the of their life,...More

$10.00/ per person to see sad bison and dying tulips. Garden center is mostly overpriced kissing Dutch children and bulbs and the requisite tourist junk. The wooden shoe manufacturing would be interesting if it were in operation (but it wasn't)

What would be the average cost to go on a weekday to the tulip festival? Please give us the cost of parking and admission and other incidentals, not including the food. Thank you.

That would be based on what you do. At Veldheers the Gardens are $10.00. all the shopping, delft factory, Woodenshoe factory, & parking is free
