Fun little hike, can do the steps or take the path from the state park RV park which is no steps and longer. Still short, but fun to do to watch the sunset or get a little exercise just outside of the state park.

Expect to get a good workout for your legs and lungs on this 200+ step climb to the top of a dune. Years ago there was nothing but an open sand dune that was a climbing and playing attraction for everyone. To help preserve the dune a winding stairway was built allowing easier access for all to an informative lookout... More

A somewhat strenuous climb to the top but it's all boardwalk / steps. The view makes the climb worthwhile as you can enjoy panoramic views of Lake Michigan, Big Red, Lake Macatawa, and Holland State Park. There's also a connecting trail that takes you through picturesque forest and connects to the campground at Holland State Park. Parking is limited for... More

There are over 200 steps to climb to get to the top of Mt. Pisgah, but when you do - you will be rewarded with a fabulous view of Lake Michigan and Lake Macatawa! It is especially beautiful in the fall! It is fun to do almost any time though. There are trails going off from the deck at the... More

We've lived in Holland many years and finally discovered this hidden treasure. The view is breathtaking and the trails made for a great hike.

I like to walk up the boardwalk during the day to see the sail boats pass thru the channel into Lake Michigan, to see Big Red, the Holland Lighthouse, and to view the beaches.

If you are in Holland and like to climb steps , this is a must do. When you are at the top you have a great view of Lake Michigan, the channel, the lighthouse and the whole city. It is also a great exercise spot--climb the stairs, run the trails or run to the beach.

Love the hike up the steps for the view, and the trails through the woods are great for exercise or a casual walk. A definite gem of the Holland area in every season!!

Bring your climbing legs. An unparalleled view of Lake Macatawa and Lake Michigan with Big Red as highlight. Several rest platforms on the way up, with bench seats. Viewing platforms at the top with good seating for reading and resting. Be above the tree tops for a panoramic view.

Get ready to Climb, There are many stairs to climb, but once at the top - the view is breath-taking of Lake Michigan - Remember your Camera or Cell phone, then take a hike along the trails, to capture more of Michigan's beauty. Have fun - and have a great hike!
