Lots of fun. Took our grandchildren and had a ball. From the live owls and hissing cockroaches to the static displays it held the interest of a 5 and 7 year old who had been there before. Many birds just outside the view window - even a pair of cardinals. Plan 1 to 1 1/2 hours to explore, then another... More

A small 'inside the city' nature park. My wife took the grandkids there last week when they were visiting us. They enjoyed all the critters that they have - both captive and in the wild. Great place to take the kids - very educational!.

DeGraaf Nature Center is located in a residential part of Holland. It is not huge, but it is a great place to walk through wooded areas and see nature. There are boardwalks throughout, so it is wheelchair assessable. DeGraaf offers many school group and programs, throughout all the seasons. The city of Holland is fortunate to have DeGraaf Nature Center.

Casual place with lots of hands-on opportunities for young kids. They love to look at the animals and play with the puppets and puzzles. But probably their favorite part is running on the trails :)

We drove up/down the street a couple of times before we found the entrance to the De Graaf Nature Center. This is a small nature center tucked away in a residential area. On the day we visited, we had the trails to ourselves. Part of the trail system is boardwalk and some are wood chip paths. There are a number... More

Lots of open spaces and walking trails. Rehabilitated animals for viewing. Helpful signage and explanations of native plants and animal species.

The DeGraaf Nature Center is tucked in the woods about 2 miles from downtown Holland. The trails are open daily, but the Education Center is open Tuesday through Saturday. On Saturday of almost every weekend, things are happening. The Staff is great and tries hard to explain what is happening in Nature. A must during your visitn to Holland. The... More

Come rest and play in a park that has great views of water fowl and small animals. Loved the trails and playground.
