Weekend visit

We were here on a Sunday so the manor was not opened to the public so we toured the grounds and the exteriors of the buildings. Beautiful setting on Gull Lake. Owned by MSU.

I coordinated a tour of and luncheon at the Kellogg Manor House. The attendees enjoyed the luncheon and absolutely enjoyed the tour of the house. The staff were first class. The docents were extremely knowledgeable and conducted a fine tour. Can't recommend this historic home highly enough. Five stars!

First visited the Kellogg's Foundation building and was met by a security guard who was very helpful with providing information about Mr. Kellogg, family history, how the corn flakes came to be. Granted I was there on a week day where there wasn't much going on. I honestly did not expect to be caught up on the history of Kellogg's... More

I visited the Manor House with a friend who was looking for a wedding venue. I am a photographer and I live in the area so I had been there many times before. This spectacular home was built in the 1920's and restored about 15 years ago. If you love architecture and history, this is the place to visit even... More

I have visited the Manor House for various work functions/dinners. The setting is lovely... especially on the terrace during the nice weather where you get a peak-through views of Gull Lake (nothing expansive due to the large trees in the way). The catering is ok -- pretty typical business catering fare I would say. nothing standout about it. The historical... More

The house is so grand. We went there late in the day and had the house to ourself. The self help guide was easy to follow and simple. If you want extensive history, go with a guide and pay money.

This is a beautiful venue for a wedding, especially if the weather cooperates and it can be held outside with Gull Lake as a back drop. Take time to tour the manor house - lots of interesting Kellogg history

I've been trying to find this place for over a year and I'm glad I finally did with the help of a relative. The W. K. Kellogg Manor is a short drive from Kalamazoo and worth it. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and many weddings and receptions are held here. The caretakers cottage and carriage house can be rented overnight... More
