This is a matchwork of various garden categories. It is under the Horticultural Centre of the Pacific, hence an operation for learning rather than a tourist site. Many plants have plaques nearby naming the plants and some larger display signs with information on the garden’s...More

I am quite loath to write a review here! I would rather keep these gardens a secret, there are no coaches full of people ticking off a box, and that is part of the joy! These are beautifully designed, planted and cared for gardens, one...More

A delightful and cheap alternative to Butchart Gardens. These gardens are small and well loved. A wonderful place to spend 1/2 a day wandering around.

This set of gardens surpassed my expectations in late March. It is multiple tiers, or levels, with varying plantings. We found many blooming beauties. I enjoyed the many different "rooms". The garden has benches and statues, mostly whimsical and not. They add such quirky interest...More

We went around the gardens yesterday and it was beautiful. Lots of little trails - heather garden, japanese garden, bonsai trees, rhodos not out yet but will look stunning and an area of Hellebores and spring flowers, an area where the horticulture school are growing...More

Was there again in February for a course & took some time to walk the gardens. Always well laid out in beautiful state. Something different to see as the seasons change. Worth while becoming a member as there is free entry.

As it is winter most of the gardens are done but it was still nice to walk through and see the gardens. It was by donation only so super affordable. Wish we would have known there was a little cafe to stop at.

I went to HCP on a dreary day. I had a ball! I loved the art that's sprinkled throughout the garden. I loved the variety of plants, the views of the lake in the distance, the energy of the volunteers who were there that day....More

This is a much under-rated garden attraction. 109 acres of well cared-for, interesting botanical specimens. Well labeled organized gardens: Doris Page Winter Garden,Takata Zen Garden, Native Plant, Herb Gerden, Vegetable plots, pro-Pollinator Garden and not to be missed Bonsai Gardens. Charlotte and Quail Cafe gives...More
