We really wanted to visit this lighthouse but did not realize how limited the hours were and that a boat trip was required. It was my fault for not keeping the lighthouse information better organized.

We went for a lighthouse tour it was very impressive the ride out by boat, the tour was excellent guides on each floor of the lighthouse they had three groups in the lighthouse at one time. Really enjoyed it and the views where stunning.

A stop on the Lake Huron Lighthouse Trail. A peaceful harbor, nice public park, and a boardwalk that extends into the harbor for a nice view. Well maintained. Plenty of parking. Free. About 25 minutes north of Port Sanilac. Just off Rte 25.

This lighthouse is a sparkplug design that sits at the end of one of the breakwaters in Harbor Beach lakefront. There are tours to the Lighthouse but only on Saturdays until 1pm and are usually sold out. The view from the beach and marina are...More

We went when the lighthouse wasn't open for tours. Followed directions to see from fishing pier and where tours leave. A lousy place to view as that marina plus the nearby power plant give a bad impression. We went to Harbor Beach Park and had...More

The lighthouse tours (from the marina) were not operating on the day we were here (Monday). So we drove to Lincoln Park (a nice park with a stretch of sandy beach, picnic tables, and restrooms) to photograph the lighthouse. If you are unable to catch...More

Be sure to book your lighthouse tour early. We tried the day before our visit and the online site said it was booked. We called a couple of phone numbers and found there had been a cancellation. The tour starts with a 10 minute boat...More

It's best to call the Harbor Master in Harbor Beach for that detail. Thanks for your interest.
