I can't comment on this as a ski hill but the view on a clear July evening was spectacular and we could see the Huron Mountains

This is a challenging hill with a small, but adequate beginners area. With all the powder off of Lake Superior you have one of the snowiest ski hills in the Midwest with a large ski bowel and glade skiing allowed. Next Winter, a new tubing...More

Very tough hills for intermediate or beginner skiers. lots of ramps for jumps for the excellent skiers.

Only in Michigans Upper Pennisula would the ski resort take advantage of the off season and offer chair lift rides to enjoy the view and amazing scenery. This was an inexpensive attraction that offered views that non-skiers do not generally get to take advantage of.
