You can walk around the lake, stop for a coffee, even make your own BBQ. There is a playground and ducks to watch, great for children. Great place for a city jog. Inner city paradise.

It seemed a good idea to go to this place on a lovely sunny winters' day. It had been years since I was last here, and it looks better than I remember it. The black swans in the lake looked to be sunning themselves also....More

Lovely lake in the park with the skyline of Melbourne behind. Was great for us to see the black swans on the water. Don't get those back in the UK!

Albert Park Lake - fall out of a boat, stand up and you will be waist deep!! Lots of swans, tourists who want to have photos and feed (notwithstanding signs which say don’t) the swans; and not much else. No doubt a great facility for...More

A very ordinary room with mouldy smelling bathroom. The worst Mecure room I’ve stayed in. As a Gold Accor member I was unimpressed. There were no empty rooms to change to

Visited on Friday 23rd February. We wanted to stop and have a walk near the lake but couldn't due to the setting up for F1 racing later in March. It is a beautiful lake worth adding to your list of places to visit in Melbourne.
