Game in on a weekday evening. I have known about their beer and was eager to try it. The location and interior was less than idea, but I knew I was in for good beer! The menu is extensive and I love their dark beers...More

Don't let the neighborhood scare you away. Their beer is awesome, especially the vanilla cheesecake...OMG. The building is pretty run down and if you want a chuckle look out the back at the filled in swimming pool. If you love beer, that stuff won't matter...More

Great brewery with really good beer. Peanut Butter Stout is da bomb.. Ideal for popcorn, Red Wings and a flight or two.

We were given a list of suggested breweries and this was one of them. It was a $12 Uber ride from downtown but worth it Id say. Cute little place, good beer and a nice bartender.

This brewery isn't high on technical ability or is it spit and polished. What it is, is a very open and friendly place with a great atmosphere. The Mead is excellent as is the Hired Gun Red Ale. A bit off the beaten path, but...More

Must try the peanut butter beer and the hazelnut beer. Probably on the top ten beers of GR to me. Werid location and inside but I could get over it.

I love Hideout's beer - it's not usually a stop on GR beer tours and doesn't always make the best GR beer lists, but that's okay with me because we can actually get a table (not the case at Founder's). Hideout has a huge selection...More

My husband and I are craft beer connoisseurs, so when we were visiting GR for the weekend, we knew we definitely wanted to try some good local beers. I ended up getting a Groupon for the brewery. It is a little off the beaten path,...More

Grand Rapids is Beer City USA and it's the smaller unique brews that earned the city it's title. This place is more relaxed than the downtown breweries. Sure it's a bit out of the way, hence The Hideout name, but their variety of beers is...More

The Hideout's main problem is its location and thus clientele. It's located on the end of a long road surrounded by apartment complexes. The result is a lot of crass individuals who you don't want to be sharing a beer with. The interior is oddly...More
