As a history buff and person who was a young child during the term of President, Gerald R. Ford, I was reluctant to spend time at the museum. I figured I knew all I needed to about the man. I went to the museum because I had some time and it was right across the street from my hotel. It... More

My wife wants to visit all the Presidential Library-Museums now that we are retired. We already visited the Ford Library in Ann Arbor so I wasn't expecting much. However, after a eight month remodeling effort last year, this place really impressed me. There are loads of photos (big and small), memorabilia galore and a replica of the oval office when... More

It's always rewarding to visit presidential museums to learn more about the president and times during his administration. Really enjoyed visiting the Gerald R. Ford Museum - it was a walk down memory lane remembering the times during his administration and I really enjoyed learning more about him the man. I had either forgotten or didn't know his extensive involvement... More

Not great. Multiple items broken. Too expensive. Adults are 8$ each. Spent about one hour inside. Not worth it.

We toured the museum for about an hour 1/2. It was informative. We thought the layout was a bit confusing. It didn't naturally lead the way through the years of his life. We did not know if we should go right or left as we traversed through the exhibit. It is a good history lesson. Would have liked to have... More

We had a nice afternoon visiting the museum. It was well put together and displays were great. There are many things we learned about President Ford and his family.

If you have an extra couple hours and eight bucks while in Grand Rapids it is time and money well spent to go to the museum. You will definitely learn a lot about President Ford and realize the job he did as President of the United States. This place makes you proud of what he did. Very nice museum.
