The views are breathtaking of the dunes, the shoreline, and the lake. If you're feeling adventurous, run (carefully) down to the bottom to stick your feet in Lake Superior and get an amazing uphill perspective from the shoreline. However, take note the climb back up is steep and takes time. It took me about 25 minutes and lots of sweat... More

A must see! Views with history along the way. Paved hiking trail makes it easy to get to the view atop the dunes. The hearty may choose to descend and the log slide and then climb back up, but it's steep and a bit treacherous.

We didn't make it all the way down but definitely enjoyed the views! The Dunes are amazing and you can walk along the top for a short distance. You can also hike into the dunes which is well worth it!

The log slide overlook is an amazing stop for your Upper Peninsula tour. Short and easy walk. The view is breathtaking and the thoughts of the old loggers working at this slide makes you wonder just how it all could work. Lots of sand, safe but keep track of your party. there are warning signs of where NOT to go... More

Just an awe inspiring view over the edge. Definitely make a stop while in the area seeing Pictured Rocks.

Hubs usually spends a lot of time at Sleeping Bear dunes and was surprised at how big were these dunes. It was an easy walk and beautiful view!!

This place is great. We did the dunes view right below the scenic overview. It's a little scared at first but as long as you use common sense it's a breathe taking view. My husband how doesn't always enjoy going off the map loved it. It's a must visit place

Wasn't feeling tough enough to run down this beast. The view from here is amazing though. Cannot wait to go back.

This view is worth the hike. On a clear day you can see for miles both ways. I think this is a pretty as Sleeping Bear dunes. I would advise to hang on the small children as it is quite steep. Stay on the trail.
