Utilize the free Saturdays at the FIA and hourly glassblowing demonstrations. The narrator is SUPERB and the items made in the demonstrations are for sale in the gift shop--totally cool.

This place is not to the caliber of the Detroit Institute of Arts but is still very much worth a visit. Large enough it'll take a couple hours to get through and a very good variety of selection. Parking is free.
