A nice place to visit

Walked to the park while at CTCA. There is a nice walking path. The beach area is kept clean and nice to visit. There is a lot of area in the beach to take in nature!

This was a nice stop off on a busy day. We enjoyed a picnic here. It was quiet which was great as the day had been super busy.

Wonderful, family-friendly beach with a playground, fire pits and grills for cooking. Wonderful swimming here and the perfect spot for a sunset.

Though crowded in mid-summer, this family-friendly beach is a beauty at sunset. Nestled smack between two sections of Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore, parking is limited, but there is a small playground, beach pits for actual fires, soft sand, restrooms, water fountain, and amazing views of the dunes. If Lake Michigan is too cold, or if there is a riptide that... More

We stopped here with our grandchildren after lunch. We were very surprised how nice it was. The is a $1 fee to park for an hour but we were lucky enough that someone gave us his ticket with 40 min left on it. The dollar charge was fine for what you get. It was too chilly to swim but the... More

Nice sand beach, benches, even firepit rings. We caught a beautiful sunset and enjoyed watching various groups around multiple firepits. Almost magical.

Nice town beach. Beautiful facility. Overflow parking if needed. Had home-based ourselves in Empire for our 4 day visit to the area and joined others one evening for an incredible sunset. Clear sky and burning red sun disappearing into Lake Michigan. Was a delightful air of joy and celebration on the beach from the many folks who also saw the... More

It's an easy beach to get to. They charge a dollar an hour but worth it! The front side is cooler than the back side. My daughters loved the pier. They jumped off it several times

We spent an afternoon at this beach. It's easy to find just outside of Empire. We enjoyed the option to also swim at North Bar Lake which is a bit warmer but not as blue and clear. My son was excited to find a Petosky Stone!

Close public beach to sleeping bear dunes. Lots of rocks though water shoes would have helped. Water is gorgeous shades of blue and green.
