This trail is very nice and the view is amazing. The trail has some steep parts. This is the most popular trail in Sleeping Dunes.

The walk is worth the reward! This is an amazing view on the dunes and Empire beach. On a sunny day, do not forget some water!

This must be why Good Morning America named Sleeping Bear Dunes the most beautiful place in the United States. It's well worth the beautiful walk through the woods to see the breathtaking views from the bluff high over Lake Michigan and little Bar Lakes.

Nice hike through the forest to get to the overlooks. Even my wife with an ailing knee made it. So glad we accomplished it.

We hiked the 1.5 mile trail in the evening. It was a nice hike through the trees which opened up to reveal gorgeous views of Lake Michigan. There is an area to sit and take it all in. Worth the hike. There is a small...More

Nice walk through the woods on a pretty good and wide path. Up and down but not too long. And then you get to the end and have a great view of the lake and the shoreline.

This is a relatively easy hike with fantastic views. It is not terribly strenuous and has many spots to stop and observe the scenery. This is a good time to use the panorama photo option on your camera.
