A friend and I visited for the first time and found the building was as amazing inside as it is outside! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We saw the exhibit "The Transported Man" among others. My favorite was in the collection gallery, with...More

Tried to visit this morning based on a couple of web sites saying they open at 10 on Tues thru Thurs. At the door it stated not open until Noon. Checked Yelp which said should be open. An employee then come out and said only...More

The architect Zaha Hadid created a wonderful piece of modern art on this traditional looking campus of MSU. We walked around the building at night when the museum was closed and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Then the next day we went inside. The special collection...More

The outside architecture is the most impressive part of the entire museum. The inside is fairly small, and honestly, kind of underwhelming. There are a few great exhibits (the elephant and the bug tent), but most aren't all that awe-inspiring. It's a great place to...More

The Broad Museum was one of the last buildings designed by international star architect Zaha Hadid. It opened in November 2012 and houses a changing collection of modern art pieces in 2d and 3d. Perhaps noteworthy: the museum was used as the house of Lex...More

Wonderful modern art museum with a terrific and unusual design. Nicely landscaped and a great place to visit. A great asset to the campus at MSU.

One of the best small art museums in the country. Striking Zaha Hadid-designed structure surrounds an innovative space for varying installations. Excellent use of daylight. Well-trained and courteous staff and docents. Worth a trip in itself.

They close every Monday, so I came back again the next day, they were displaying art pieces from China when I visited. A new experienced for me to see Chinese art.

Last spring, I took my niece to visit the Broad Museum. I found there to be not "art" of any merit with these walls. The exhibits were disorganized and most ost of the exhibits were stark and did little to make one want to come...More

A most interesting place for exhibiting art. However, the galleries are rather oddly arranged. Exhibitions are varied and by and large contemporary art; not all of which will be interesting to all visitors.

It is free. There is a donation box for if you would like to make a contribution, but they don't force you to make a contribution. Being a student with no money - I didn't.
Have you redecorated and solved the cleanliness of the rooms?
