MSU's huge country-like campus offers a lovely setting for running, biking or just hanging out, and also has places to visit, like the Beal Botanical Gardens, Sanford Natural Area, the 70,000-capacity Spartan football stadium, an art center, planetarium and, of course, the MSU Dairy Store for ice cream.

Michigan State University is a gem hidden in East Lansing, Michigan. Most people relate it to sports and do not realize it is a great school. Three different medical schools are the crowning jewels but there is so much more. While here in the summer visit one of the great botanical gardens in the country. Visit the state capital in... What can I say as a Spartan Alumni but it still is the most beautiful campus in the country and the best university to attend as a undergraduate. I have nothing but good memories here and what a football team!!!

Spent the day at the university museum. It has a wide variety of displays. The contents of the general store was a highlight.

Self toured around the campus while there for a game. Beautiful campus! The fall colors really added to the beauty. Busy in town with a home game. The painted campus rock is cool. Don't forget a stop by their dairy store. Yummy ice cream!

I'm from Chicago but because East Lansing is not that far from it (3-4h) I decided to purchase tickets to Wharton Center for Performing Art for a performance not available in my town. So when the day came I decided to go to East Lancing in the morning to visit MSU (Michigan State University) campus. I wish I came sooner... More

I was recently back on campus for a home football game. Even though I graduated from MSU 21 years ago, everything about the campus remains familiar, like an old friend. If you've never visited the campus before, here's my quick recommendation on what to see and do: Check out the Red Cedar River, buy some popcorn, and feed the ducks... More

I was visiting my daughter for homecoming weekend. She attends MSU but we are from the deep south. I can tell you we have nothing on this campus when it comes to hospitality. Everyone is very personable and it feels like one big family. The homecoming parade was electric. This was only my third time to the campus but it... More

We came for Homecoming weekend to walk around the beautiful campus, meet with some faculty from the college where we graduated, and see some buildings open to the public, including museums, and, of course the Homecoming parade and football game. This is a very friendly campus, where people are willing to direct you if you can't find the building you... More

The campus is just beautiful. It is full of trees, nice old buildings, a river, and great walking sidewalks. It is fun just to walk around and enjoy the day. It is a large campus!
