We visit the Children's garden at least twice a year, there's so much to learn and see, and the kids have a blast. Sometimes we'll visit the butterfly garden or rose garden as well, and both are equally beautiful. Would recommend, particularly for young children. Parking is around $3 though, so be aware.

Such a great place for a casual stroll. So beautiful and well kept. Look carefully... there are lots of fun little details hiding throughout.

From Spring through Fall a visit to MSU's gardens, particularly the Children's Garden is a must see activity.

I am a bit prejudice reviewing "The Children's Garden". My wife was the administrative assistant to the genius who conceived this magnificent space at Michigan State. I've been taking my grandchildren to "The Garden"for 15 years making memories. Both my children had wedding pictures taken there as have countless other couples. The garden is a wonderful learning experience for all... More

Nice little tucked away place on Michigan State's campus. Good for little kids, bigger kids might be disappointed. Close to the MSU ice cream store. :)

Innovative and fun. Check out the programs available to children. Garden crew works hard at providing new ideas.

Had to bribe kids with ice-cream to leave...great way to spend the morning seeing all types of herbs, vegetables and flowers. I bit of a hike to the MSU Dairy Store, but the ice cream was to die for.

tucked away near the greenhouses on campus is the children's garden. Open during the day for families, children. Has imaginative layout of flowers, a bridge, a treehouse, a maze, digging area and seating arena for classes. Free, but parking is metered.
