This church is amazingly beautiful and right in Greek Town. I love the architecture as well as the colors of the church. The organ is HUGE and sounds FANTASTIC! I enjoyed going to mass here as well. I love the traditional way parishioners receive communion...More

I attended a service with approximately 1,200+ of my closest friends. It is a beautifully calming interior with a working pipe organ. It's a shame only 100 people on average attend service here.

VIsit St Mary's for the architecture and stay for the prayful atmosphere. I have visited this house of worship many times. It is one of the most peaceful, prayerful places I have ever experienced. My stress melts away when I enter the doors.

Was here for a wedding and what a beautiful church this is. Amazing stained glass, paintings, statues and details. The location is within easy walking distance of Greektown so it would be worth stopping in if you are in the area. Still in great shape,...More

Attending mass at Old St. Mary's is a traditional, reverent experience. One of the most beautiful churches in Detroit.

One of the oldest catholic churches in Detroit. Very nicely maintained and close to Greektown and the restaurants.

This church is amazing, even for a non-catholic like our family. Not only the church's interior is gorgeous, the church itself has an amazing history over 200 years with 2 restorations. Needless to say, this is the most prominent Catholic church around.

We went to this church for a friends wedding and it was absolutely gorgeous! The noise inside the church was perfect, when we exited, there were loud cars being worked on/engines being revved.

We aren't Catholic, but heard it was amazing and found a Priest that was nice enough to let us inside! The architecture is amazing!

For close to 200 years, Roman Catholics have worshipped here. Rebuilt after a fire in the 1880s and restored again in 1984, this is one of the most beautiful, most respectful religious icons in America.
