Thank you so much for asking! While we have been closed due to COVID-19, activities and events are picking up in downtown Detroit. We are currently conducting vehicle testing and hope to serve our regular riders this summer.

Its wonderful! The people mover is a great way to get around, I have used it many times, usually get on from Greektown CasinoIt runs M-S, but the hrs are different,Fri & Sat -@am, so if you are staying out late may sure leave before 1.45., otherwise Mon-Thur,Sun until 12am..The cost is .75 or 1 DPM token, kids under 5 free. Each stop is annouched, so you won't miss your stop.Strollers & wheelchairs are allowd, I believe there are 13 stops.

Listen, this thing is just like a Subway, it's not real pretty, but it gets you where you need to be. It takes 15 minutes to ride the thing around the whole circle and it costs $.75/ride per person. You don't have to wait long for another train to come, I don't think I ever waited more than 5 minutes. The only thing that could be improved is cleanliness. Just bring some hand sanitizer and don't touch the poles LoL.

Came to Detroit on a very cold day and decided to use the people mover rather than walk. It only cost $0.75 to use and the complete tour around the city only takes about 20 minutes! It makes quite a few stops so make sure you grab a free little information booklet that shows you all the stops it makes. People movers come around about every 20 minutes.

This tiny 3-ish mike track runs in a circle around downtown, and can get you close to all of the major sports arenas and Greektown, no matter where you park in that loop. I used to amuse my twins when they were younger just doing a couple of loops around the track before settling in for lunch in Greektwon. It’s a tiny fee to get on, and you can circle as many times as you want after you’re on!
