Ran a half marathon on Belle isle in the summer and though it was hot, I loved it! Had a great visit, the scenery was nice and would do it again!

Everytime we visit the island we are so impressed with the love that is going into rebuilding the island to it’s potential. Thank you State of Michigan.

It is an interesting middle of the river island that I think would make a great place for a bike ride in the right weather conditions. Nice views of both the Detroit and Windsor river fronts. You might see a few boats too.

Detroit is the only city to own an Island as a park. If you come to the city it's a great place to just sit by the water, bike, run, jog, boat, canoe etc. Bring the bbq grill and I chair and your good.

The Arboretum full of tropical plants is a beautiful place to walk thru. The water fountain makes a great backdrop for taking pictures. The drive around the park has some beautiful views. Kids enjoy the aquarium.

Since Belle isle in Detroit became a state park it's really nice. Great giant slide for $1 per ride, nice ice cream shop and beautiful fountain. You can also rent paddle boats.

I was so excited to finally be able to take my family to Belle Isle. The history of the place alone is worth the visit. Not to mention the price of a recreation passport and you get to do and see everything - conservatory, aquarium,...More

I have seen dj’s at them and those blow up houses that run on fans. While I don’t know, there has to be power near by.
