Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely little park. Play equipment for the children including hopscotch built into the pathways. Well made historical sculptures. Plenty of trees for shade. Beautiful river views and a bitumen path along the river bank that suits walkers, bike riders, and apparently goes quite a distance although we didn't leave the immediate area. Just a bit of a walk to Optus Stadium from the park.

Burswood Park is apart of the Crown complex which is extremely handy if staying at the hotel as the walks around the park are gorgeous. There are plenty of activities for families available including a fully fenced shaded playground, Heritage walking Trail , beautiful manicured landscape gardens & interesting fountains & statues.

It is a beautiful park, and a lovely walk to take. I also recommend staying at the burswood casino. There are so mant facilities such as BBQ's and an outdoors cinemeas facility.

I was visiting Perth with my 21 month old daughter and went to the Burswood park for a stroll with her. We came across the kids playground and decided to play. She really loved the park and I must say it was nice to sit and watch her and marvel at the beautiful view. The park had quite a few kids playing and it was well equipped. I would have given 5 stars had it not been for the one major issue.....the playground had 3 gates to enter and exit from but none of them had child safe locks. My 21month daughter was able to open the gates and get out. The river is so close to the playground so I would expect child safe locks. It only takes a minute for a child to get out of view and down to the water and seconds to fall in and drown. The council really needs to fix their error in putting in a playground (anywhere) without child safe locks. Hopefully this (and a courtesy letter) prompts them to change it.

I like Burswood Park for the views and the paved walkway alongside the Swan River.
It gets popular but not too crowded with bike riders, runners and walkers.
Plenty of grass area too. Parking can be a challenge at the moment due to roadworks in the area, however it's still worth the effort for a few hours of relaxation and views.

We regularly walk through this park whilst walking around the bridges. We start from Windan Bridge and follow the path along East Perth over the Perth Causeway and pass by Burswood on our way back to cross back to Windan.
This park is always abuzz with people and had well maintained facilities and lots of opportunities for a break. There is lots of wildlife, free electric bbq's and children play areas.
There is a well marked shared cyclist/ pedestrian walkway/path but be warned the cyclists really are a bit crazy. The park is on the river front next to the Crown casino. There is parking available which can be accessed from Great Eastern Highway.
