Stalls automotive foundation is a well kept secret that more people need to hear about. They are normally only open to the public on Tuesdays but a few exceptions are Veterans Day, the Friday during Woodward dream cruise week, and recently they have started having car shows every Thursday night during the summer and open the museum from 1830-1930 on... Just one street south of 26 Mile and Gratiot, Macomb County. . Only opened on Sat. Free or a donation. Kids or grandparents and all those in-between. LOVED IT. What history. So entertaining. A Car Museum and more. Juke boxes, Organs and old car's kids can sit it and steer.

This is most enjoyable and interesting automotive museum I have had the good fortune to live near. It is fun for adults and children alike. There are a tremendous variation of cars and mechanical musical instruments, It is awesome the amount of mechanical and musical talents it took to make these musical instrument and to make them really work. There... More

We had the opportunity to visit Stahl's Auto Foundation with our volunteer group. There is not enough space to share all the beautiful, fascinating displays. The entry is a museum of itself. Antique player pianos 10 feet high with hand carved facades. One is s group of violins that plays in a round. The instruments work and the docents will... More

Hidden gem full of vintage cars, gas pumps, mechanical music machines, jukeboxes, vending machines, general Americana, etc. The attention to detail here is tremendous. Too much to list. Quite frankly, I found the vehicle displays more interesting than those at the Henry Ford Museum. Much more entertaining too. The friendly staff will randomly fire up an old car or start... More

I am not one to be easily impressed, but this museum blew me away! The collection included many rare or one of a kind automobiles, including several that had been featured in movies. There were gasoline signs and pumps, many unusual musical "players" that I had never seen in my lifetime. This museum is a treasure and not to be... More

This is by far a wonderful collection of cars and musical players. Such a wide variety of cars of all makes and models.

If you live within a half an hour of this establishment you may not even know it exists. They have approximately 95 classic cars on display at any given time. Also many unique musical instruments that play music on command. They have beautiful colors displayed in the beautiful show room all on the donation only basis I highly recommend it... More

I have never seen a collection like this in my life. This is no ordinary car collection consisting of mustangs, chargers, and camaros. While those are all beautiful cars, this collection has the cars you may have heard about but are too rare to find anywhere. If you ever heard of a Tucker automobile then you know there are only... Unashamedly, I love cars, and I found some gems iat Stahl's: the most beautifully proportioned Duesenberg special; a 4.5l Bentley to die for; and a challenging choice between taking home a fine Delahaye ...or a Stutz Bearcat. Jeepers: car heaven. Among the cars here, these were my gems, but there was so much more. And then there were the music... More
