One of several Michigan campgrounds and State Parks along Michigans Lake Michigan shore. Like several others, it features a large dune area tha can be climbed/hiked, and a very nice large beach. Can be busy on weekends in the summer but there is plenty of room at the beach. As with Mose Michigan State Parks, reservations are pretty much required.... More

We had hoped to snowshoe here but Mother Nature didn't cooperate. Instead, we walked along the beach and sand dunes for 3 miles and loved it.

Been here many times with Scouts. Always a great stay. Hiking down the beach and then climbing the dunes.

One of the biggest beach areas you will find. The beach frontage itself is one of the longest you will find. Bathrooms and snack bar will be new buildings in 2017. Three large parking lots. Many different places to climb dunes. There is a river that empties into Lake Michigan on southern end of the park. Several covered picnic areas... More

If you've never been to a Michigan State Park, Warren Dunes would be a great place to start. Easily accessible off the main highway and the entry fee is included in an annual state park sticker (otherwise there is an entry fee). HUGE dunes for climbing, spacious beach and lakefront, and beach houses. Get out and enjoy nature!

Visited the dunes for my 50th time and it's as good as ever. Great stretch of sandy beach the big dune, Tower Hill, is still there , eroded a little bit, but still a wicked climb. Big skies, waves lapping, doesn't get much better except in the off season when locals walk there dogs! On a clear day you can... More

Nice little scenic park to hike up and around the dunes on! It's in bad need of some public restrooms, only a outhouse was availble ! It appeared they was building a couple new buildings, hopefully they will have restrooms!

My daughter, her freind, and I came here and spent two days enjoying the beach and the scenery. It is such a fun expereince here. It is the fifth time my daughter and I have visited and each time we hate to leave. One tip is to wear socks to walk through the sand on hot days. The sand gets... More

Beautiful park! Went to camp there with my fiance and had a wonderful time! There was a couple sand hills which was a hike to climb up but the views are awesome! Too bad the lake was too cold for us to swim.

This is a good beach but gets very busy in the middle of summer! Be prepared to wait for entry plus you have to pay to get into it per car. The beach is clean mostly and has a little store and gift shop. It is regulated by the park rangers and has large dunes to climb.

Thank Jennifer Y
