We enjoyed the resort with our children for holiday skiing. They have groomed runs. The chair lifts are a bit slow when it gets crowded.

We spent Christmas weekend skiing with our grandsons and their parents. Thoroughly enjoyed it! Some Nice runs, decent snow, and after the first Morning in Ski school, both boys (8 and 4) were on the liftster and green runs with us. A Great family outing!

Highlands are more challenging but a shuttle runs between them. Boyne resort has a great night life and many activities for the whol family. The large tram ride to the base of Boyne Mt.

With as cold as it is here in Michigan, there is a pretty good chance. It has remained very cold this winter and there is a heavy base at Boyne already. It's always somewhat iffy in the Spring. Call ahead before going up... More

If you are taking your family there for playing in the snow, stay right at the mountain lodge. They have everything there and you won't need to go anywhere.
