Rock House is one of my favorite places to get close to nature. The trials are wide and well maintained. Families can easily enjoy these trails which loop back to the parking lot so your hike can be as long or short as you want to make it. The glacial rock formations are interesting and fun to climb and explore.... More

I stopped here unexpectedly driving back to Boston from W. Mass. Ended up hiking every trail in a couple of hours, and it was a really nice mix of flat forested, uphill, and even a meadow.

Great place to hike; really cool sights to see. Hiking trails are not difficult. Only negative is folks who neglect picking up after their animals.

Nice trail with plenty of interesting stops to keep the kids attention. My kids love the cabin overlooking the pond and of course the giant rocks! Property and trails kept up nicely. Takes a family anywhere from 30 minutes to 1.5 hours depending on the trail picked. Free activity

There are lots of mosquitoes here so bring insect repellant. In spite of the drone of the bugs, this place is well worth the trip. There are legend boards at the trail head that speak of the history of the place. A short steep, rocky hike leads to an open area beside a pond. If you stand in the shadow... More

It's free! What a terrific roadside stop. Perfect for families, seniors or serious hikers. Loved the New England woodland landscapes. The rocks are amazing and the pond is delightful. Saw frogs and turtles! Gorgeous park. Great place to meditate or do yoga. Port-a-pottie available near the trailhead. Trails are wide and nicely maintained. Parking is free and there is a... More

This is a wonderful hidden gem. I took my young grandkids there and we hiked the red trail around the pond. They loved climbing on and around the huge rocks. Not a difficult hike.

I take my dogs here (on leash - the rest of you dog owners take note) and enjoy it all year round. The terrain is rolling and easy to navigate. There are enough small trails to keep it interesting. There are not a lot of people during the week so it is nice to be out in the peaceful woods.... More

It's right in our back yard, so we go frequently. Very easy hike, but better than just walking the roads.
