A Suburban Oasis

I have yet to find as beautiful a spot as Bird Park. Every season of the year it is beautiful. Wander the trails, sit and enjoy and commune with nature right in suburban Walpole

Having lived in East Walpole now for 25 years this is one of my favorite places to take a nice walk, go for a run or just sit and enjoy nature.

Visited today with my young son and our dog. An individual was hanging around the bathhouse (appeared to be drinking alcohol but seemed to be keeping to himself. Not something I wanted my son to witness. Since we made a couple of loops around we encountered him a second time on our way back to our car and he was... More

One of the great things about living in Walpole is Bird Park. The Trustees of Reservations have done a fine job in maintaining and upgrading the park. Whether you want a quiet place to sit and read, or place for a brisk walk, or ac4 mike trail run like last weekend, the park has a lot to offer. Summer movie... More

So I'm probably bias since I live across the street and walk my dog here every single day. This park is very safe, my kids (12 & 15) are in here with friends all the time. There is a great playground for younger kids, a fenced in area with a bunch of ride on toys, several basketball hoops, jogging track,... More

This is a gem ! I had no idea a town park could be so clean, thoughtfully designed and cared for . A lot of people come to appreciate it and I hope that they and Walpole can keep the high standard.

If you're ever in the Walpole area and need a place to relax, rejuvenate and retreat...this park is a sanctuary! Another fabulous gem in the Trustees of Reservations network. No charge to spend a day here. Several entrances are along a main road and side streets. Just look for the park signs. Great place to bring the kiddies as they... More

My hubby & I enjoy biking around the area where we reside on beautiful sunny days. We chose to bike out to Walpole, MA and explore around. Always enjoyable biking through the neighboring towns and down pretty side streets. We ended up at Bird Park. What a very pretty well groomed park! There are several ponds and cute little bridges... Since moving to Walpole in 2010, we have been very happy with the experiences at Bird Park. For those of you moving to Walpole and looking for a great place to hang with the kids...this is your place.
