About
Yarraman Station Park is the historical location of the old train station. Only the old sign remains on site as the station building was relocated to Heritage House in the CBD. Yarraman Weir Park is about 500m from Station Park. Please leave your pets at home. How to get there: Yarraman is about 120km north of Toowoomba. From Yarraman city centre take Browne Street (which turns into Millar Street) and you will find the Yarraman Station Park at the end of the road. Park your car and get ready to go back in time while you make your way along the weir trail. Facilities: Parking, picnic tables, picnic shelter, horse stables, toilet. Due to the isolated location, there is no drinking water supply.

An attractive area beside Yarraman Creek, the local Yarraman Weir Park forms part of the rail trail.
It is an overnight campground (with horseyards) for use by bone fide Rail Trail users.
Remnants of an old steam engine used to pump water to the Queensland Pine Mill (the first pulp mill in Australia), can still be seen.
The Weir Park is also an ideal place to picnic and watch the abundant wildlife.

The Yarraman is about 500 meters from the old Yarraman railway station on Miller street. Its got a picnic tables and ita a swimming hall. A lovely place well maintained, and in summer time great place to have a swim. Also great location for photography (outdoor)

Lovely location with some nice walking; extra nice because of the “ no pets allowed “ policy. Should be more of this consideration at public areas.

Bush Stone-curlew on track as I entered. Lovely and peaceful. Needs some TLC on cat's claw vines in creek. Glad there are no dogs allowed. Very green and water in weir.

It's so nice, just ashame and somewhat un-Australian not being able to take your dog there to enjoy it with (on a lead of course) otherwise would be perfect, if this was changed I'd be there all the time

Peace at your fingertips.Fishing ,bush walks, photos and picnics. There is something for everyone. The closesness of the weir makes the drive seem like you could walk there from the heart of Yarraman.Bring own picnic table or use there weirs covered or uncovered.
