Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It is already less crowded since people tend to go to the one at carmen when you could oversee a closer chocolate hills. It has ample parking space.good thing here is that you could let the tarisier eat a grasshopper(they have 2 tarsiers) and be amazed how it eats. Cool beans.

Visited here instead of Carmen Viewing Deck, as both of us have some mobility issues. It was still a bit of a trudge and quite a few steps in the heat, but without very many people around us, so manageable. Excellent view of the hills.

A small butterfly dome at the top, a small restaurant (you'll need a drink!) and strange cartoon figures which the children seem to love.

Take your transport right to the top to avoid the walk up a steep chocolate hill. Well worth the visit for stunning panoramics but be prepared to fight for a non obstructed photo moment as there are plenty of "Instamodels" posing for that perfect shot rather than taking in the view! If you want a Challenge (Not to be taken lightly), the closest hill infront of you will have a small path carved out at the top and not one person onto. Ask a local for the route up this if you fancy a challenge. Do not attempt in flip flops and if it has rained recently you will not get up the steep mud slopes. Think of this more of a climb rather than a walk. Be careful to plan your route down and not get carried away with the hundreds of tourists gawping at you from across the valley wondering how this "hero" made it to a better hill than them. I did this and had a very difficult way down fearful i had lost the path. The video/photos i have however are spectacular and completely clear form people!

Much less crowds than it's commercialised other half with equal viewings. This peak is about 35 minute moped drive from the original chocolate hills location, but with same format of not needing more than 20 minutes there. At the start there are a few steps to climb to reach the peak with some interesting facts to read along the way. The views here are also great, but better still are the opportunities to take photos and walk around the site without the masses of tourists.
Sagbayan also includes more horticultural attributes to admire and more to do for kids such as life sized plastic animal features. Entry into the peak was completely free..

Our first stop for our bohol adventure tour, we wanted to enjoy the view that Sagbayan Peak offers. The scenic view, the beautiful gardens and of course your favorite life size toons. There is also a butterfly dome that you have to check out at 10pesos per head only.Plus, there's a kids town where your little ones will really enjoy. Entrance fee to Sagbayan peak is at 50 pesos per head which is worth it for the time you spend. Best to visit right before sunset, so that you'll have time to explore before enjoying the sunset.

It has actually come a long way; I can still remember back in the days when we used to hike the hills. Establishment was made to make the experience more comfortable for the tourist while enjoying the scenery

Has a great view of the chocolate hills and has a little something for kids to do (because, let’s be honest, a walk up the hills to take a picture of a bunch of hills isn’t exactly fun for kids). So, if you’re looking to just take a picture with the hills behind you, this place offers just that with less the crowd and more things for kids to do . The play area is a little run down but still better than chocolate hills.

Never missed a chance when you plan to visit Bohol. Its their one of the most visited tourist attraction. There are a lot of nice spots here but the most spectacular one is when you go to the top you got to see the chocolate hills in a wide range.

We have a vacation last May, 2018 in Bohol. Sagbayan Peak is one of our destinations and truly it was a captivating moments we ever seen. We have so many shots taken, the weather was quite hot but bearable. Nice place, nice view.

This place could be an amazing experience if it was not for the attitude of some of the staff, which is totally out of character for the Filipino people who are generally very friendly, saying that everyone has a bad day so maybe this was the case
