Beautiful, unspoiled beach with big dunes. Most people spread their blankets within 100 yards of the path to the beach. Walk either direction and you have it to yourself very quickly. The only trouble with Ballston beach is parking on a midseason day at low...More

Best beach in Truro in my opinion. We stayed in Truro for a week and tried all the ocean side beaches and this was our favorite. Waves, easy access from parking lots (no steep hills), no giant tide pools cutting off the beach (like coast...More

After Labor Day the parking is free and uncrowded. The third weekend in September there was a food truck (but not during the week) with some nice options and not too pricey. The beach itself is a short but steep walk from the lot to...More

Pretty beach, rocky areas to walk through to get to the waves. But tough to walk for older folks at liw tide. The tilt of the land made me wonder if I would need hip surgery after a long walk. Corn Hill is a better...More

I can only give this beach an average grade, due to there aren't any bathrooms. The beach is very clean and beautiful. There are not a lot of parking places and there is no room for expansion. It's another best kept secret. Like many cape...More

Say this title three times fast. Lots of parking and beautiful views. The dunes are very nice and the beach itself is not very crowded. Great place for a picnic or to take photos.

May have just been this time of year but this place was a gem. A bit chilly (48 degrees) but awesome views and super secluded. Like a world of its own.

This is one of the most beautiful beaches on Cape Cod! I highly recommend it if you want quiet and beauty!

End of September....24c....sun is shining. The ocean is rough and the 'BEWARE OF SHARK" signs are a bit scary. but the beauty of this beach is breathtaking. The dunes, the wind, the surf.Perfect, raw Cape Cod

where is this north road in truro. .

It's north pamet rd. Off of rt6 going toward p-town it's a right turn then a quick left. Follow that rd to the very end.
I heard “This being a tourist community with a small year-round population, most people who frequent the beach are transients and unknown.” ~ Truro Police Officer Sgt. Carrie DeAngelo Also, "...the Truro police have been called there for numerous calls related to dog bites, shark sightings, lewd conduct and people taking pictures of children….” The police told a family that there was a problem with male child predators. Looking for boys between the ages of 7 and 9. Is it safe here??? It seems the police don't think so. We were thinking about visiting while in the area, but given these comments, we have reconsidered.
