As part of our walk around the Old Wayside Inn, we went to the Grist Mill. It was not open during the week, but we still saw some of the old mill stones, the spillway, and the water wheel.

Worth a stop if you're in the area, but not much to see. We thought the water would be 'turning' the waterwheel, but it was overflowing on the side of the mill. We spent 10 minutes there. Pretty area.

What an absolutley beautiful replica! Lot's of historic touches and a perfect Kodak opportunity! Take pictures on the bridge by the stream and check out all the old Mill Stones!!!!!

You can visit Authentic working grist mill and tour inside. The grounds are wonderful for picnicking.

There is no fee, but a donation cup at the entrance welcomes contributions of a few dollars or so. Typically, they are open during the weekend, but it would best to email Sudbury commerce to see if there is any actual dates... More

I don't know. The mill is only open part time. Call Longfellows Wayside Inn who manages the property. Their number is 978 443-1776. Bye,
