not as crowded

This orchard is not as crowded as others yet has events, good apple selection and entertainment. Fun place for family and couples. Navigating parking can be a challenge.

Came because I heard the doughnuts were good. The reviews didn't lie! I wish it wasn't raining, but we got a couple doughnuts and a cider, both were yummy. The drive there was beautiful with all of the trees this time of year too.

Four of us made our annual visit for apple picking. There were several types to choose from- macs, Cortlands and honey crisps. The usual delicious cider, cheeses and cider donuts were eagerly consumed as well. The pumpkin patch was huge, offering some good sized selections, and the display of farm animals were a good distraction for the many youngsters there.

We've been coming here for years to pick our apples, and our now-20 something daughters still come with us. There can be a line to pay to pick, but take your bag and go all the way back into the orchard and you'll have plenty of room with hardly anyone around you. Back by the Apple Shop, get your cider... My husband always visited Shelburne farms when he was a boy, and now we have enjoyed going back as adults. The cider doughnuts here are far superior to the other orchards nearby (in my opinion). This orchard is USUALLY less busy than the nearby Honey Pot Hill, so it is a good alternative for family apple picking.

We went on a Friday and nearly had the place to ourselves. They will be much more crowded on Saturday and Sunday. Staff was friendly and courteous and we had a delightful time picking apples for a couple of pies. Before we left we bought some Apple Cider, and Apple Cider Donuts, a great seasonal favorite. We have also been... More

Not as quaint as many other orchards in the area. And a little on the expensive side. Not my favorite place to pick apples!

go here and all you will do is wait. wait in lines to get tickets and apple bags. wait in line, and get cut, to ride the hayride. [the woman 'managing' the line was too busy on her phone to make sure that the people who actually waited in line got on the hayride and just let people who walked... More

We had a whole time at this orchard picking apples and a 36 pound Pumpkin. The Apple Cider Donuts were amazing especially if you get them while still warm. All the staff was polite and very helpful and the apple varieties were almost endless. It's been many years since I've ate so many different kinds of apples. We were so... More

Cute quiet farm worth the drive...we wish that we had picked our apples here as other local farms were jammed and overcrowded with people. Here it was peaceful and serene. There is a cute small shop with apples and baked goods. Outside was nicely decorated with seating. It was getting fairly busy but was spread out so didn't feel too... More
