The lights they offer at this season were varied and fun, especially at the entrance. Zoo itself pretty modest (but I confess to not liking zoos, especially ones with limited space for the animals).

A zoo is a great place to wander and learn in general and the Stone Zoo is no exception. All signs (literal and figurative) point to a zoo that emphasizes conservation over profits. However, as a zoo experience overall it's just ok. The habitats and...More

I’ve been going here for years!! I love it! So much fun! Lots of animals! It was kind of annoying when they were renovating but it was so worth it! Now it is really nice and has a great new entrance!

A little disappointed by some of the displays that weren’t up to speed in spite of the fact that it was a Friday afternoon. And some of the monkey cages were so overgrown with long, tall grass-like weeds we couldn’t see the inmates... But everything...More

Perfect for families especially those with small children as it is a compact facility, with a lot to offer in a small space. Staff was friendly and eager to share knowledge. Grounds were clean and exhibits were readily accessible. Flamingos were beautiful!!!
