There is so many things to do here. Take a cooking class, or dance class. Learn to paint, if you are a artist you can rent a studio. Excellent events all for a great cause- The humanities of art and knowledge.

The classic old Bass River Savings Bank building has a new life as a cultural center. Concerts, art galleries, art lessons in the new addition.

I happened to drive by while touring the lovely are, and was very glad I went in. Many artists were represented in their numerous studios and galleries, and several were very impressive to me. They also have a nice gift shop!

Check their schedule of events; they have live music performances at night and on-going art shows. For music shows, it's set-up like a club, with tables around the dance floor. AND you can "Bring Your Own" to the shows. Very cool place.

There isn't a train, but there is a bus that you can take from Yarmouth to Barnstable (Hyannis) and then a bus that goes to Boston.
