What a novel idea. Take an abandoned bridge and plant the heck out of it. Amazing variety of flowers and shrubs set on a walkway across this very long bridge in the heart of Shelbourne Falls.

Saw a brochure for this at an Interstate rest stop. Since it was on our way to the Berkshires, we diverted about a mile off the main route. Glad we stopped. It's amazing. We spent about 30 minutes walking back and forth across the bridge....More

We walked across the bridge awash in color and scent! It was gorgeous and relaxing, all at once. I was inspired to try to replicate some of this beauty in my own garden

I absolutely love this place. I try to make it here once or twice a year, it's different each time, depending on what is blooming. Went again early yesterday morning. It is so worth the drive. Just beautiful!

The Bridge of Flowers is a former trolley bridge that is lined by flowers on both sides of the pedestrian walkway. Unbelievable colors and plantings make this a scenic wonder to behold.
