You can walk as fast or as slowly as you wish. The blooms are amazing. Bees, butterflies, hummingbirds everywhere. Nice calm stroll from here to the falls, too. Take your time and enjoy the garden over the water!
Justifiably the town of Shelburne Falls MA takes pride in their Bridge of Flowers, dedicated to those who fought in WW 1 and 2. The bridge is short, but fragrant and overflowing with colorful flowers.

most of the flowers are now gone due to frosts/freezes, but there still might be something there. the best times to go are april-september or start of october befoire and after the frosts and freezes have happened. i found that late spring to mid summer is the best time as the flowers are in their full height and glory of blooms. it is free, but you can donate to help offset the costs of taking care of the plants, buying and upkeep of the bridge as well. parking is nearby in lots are around in the center of town or back lots as we found them easily. pets are allowd on the bridge as long as they're on a leash and you can picnic nearby as well or eat in one of the shops as we did in a pub as it wasn't that expensive, bur reasonable and best fries around!
