Having visited Sandwich many times as a young'un, I walked on this boardwalk many times to the beach. Dove off the bridge at high tide and caught crabs in the creek. About 1/4 mile long with no railings so be prepared. Nice stroll to the...More

The boardwalk is a nice walk across Mill Creek connecting the creek to Town Neck Beach. The view is best at high tide or after a storm when the water has covered the creek and it looks like you are walking through a lake. In...More

This is one of the most beautiful spots on the Cape, in my personal opinion. Bring a kayak and paddle, or just wade or swim; or if you're like me you'll bring a camera. Hint: Go at high tide, and join the kids in leaping...More

Lovely panoramic marsh views. Nice walk over the dunes to a nice beach. Can be busy, I tend to go in the afternoon when you don't have to pay to park.

Walking the boardwalk to the beach is very pleasant, the beach itself is nothing to write home about. There is parking there but you will have to pay $15 to do so, which is ok if you want to spend the day at the beach...More

It is about 3/4 of a mile in total. If you use the parking lot farthest from the beach, about a 20 minute walk in total

They do charge to park in the summer if you don't have a sticker. Unless you get there early, they don't ticket cars that get there before they start charging.
