I visited in August 2017. I love that there is plenty of free parking along the beach. It seems like there is a nicer end of the beach and a not so nice end. I was on the not so nicer end because I took...More

About what you can expect from a city beach- a bit crowded and dirty. However, access to amenities nearby including public transport, restrooms, food & drink are handy. No shade at the beach- wanted to note that!

Visited here as is listed as the best beach around. It's goes for miles, with plenty of free parking the day we went. It wasn't too busy so nice and quiet. We haven't been impressed with any of the beaches around here, so this one...More

We were really excited to go to the first public beach in America. I read so much about it, that I expected more. The beach was rocky, and because it's kind of in a cove, there aren't really waves. It would probably be great for...More

Bathrooms were closed for renovations and porta-potties were overflowing with trash (literally!) Weather also was windy and cold which didn't help the experience. Great views, but sand was fairly unpleasant. Have had much better east coast beach experiences on the Jersey Shore and in North...More

Love this place. Find a parking place. Depending on the time of the day or if the kids are hungry either go to Kellys roast beef for a sandwich or fried clam plate with some tartar sauce. Mmmmm good. Or if the bellys are almost...More

While we were at Revere Beach, they were hosting the International Sand Sculpting competition. The artistic works with sand were unbelievable! The beach is pretty and clean with plenty of space.

Very large beach that is very well taken care of. Definitely worth a stop if visiting Boston. Also make sure to stop into Kelly's Roast Beef and have a Lobster Roll. Its right across the street about midway up the beach.

No, it doesn't have a boardwalk. I don't know about the nearby beaches but I don't believe they have boardwalks either. Sorry.
