Our family visited last week. The beach is beautiful. We did see seals popping their heads up. The water was cold but being a new englander were used to that. The beach is clean and the water was calm that day so no boogie boarding for the kids. Our boys did however do some fishing off to the right. They... More

When in Provincetown, you absolutely want to get the sunsets at Race point on your list of things to do. Be careful not to speed on the road to get there, as you must respect the speed limit. The local police is really friendly however. ;-)

Come to the beach for the day but be certain to stay for the sunset show. It's the best display for the end of the day!

We visited this beach after 4 p.m at the end of June so there were no parking fees but be aware that during the day, you will have to pay for parking. There is a bit of a drive through amazing dunes before you reach the ocean. Running parallel to the road is a lovely bike path for anyone taking... More

This was the quintessential Cape Cod beach. Really beautiful and the drive in is beautiful too. I would recommend going to this beach if you are in the area.

A very beautiful beach. Very well maintained and patrolled. Lifeguards too. There are seals and sharks around, but the water was too cold this time of the year. We just enjoyed the beach and the view.

Gentle surf with seals off shore. Pebbles and rocks to collect, but no shells. Swimming if you don't mind really cold Atlantic ocean water (c'mon its bracing). Plenty of parking, bathrooms right behind the dunes, and handsome helpful friendly life guards.

My husband and I came to the beach in the evening to check out the sunset as so many other reviews said to do. I'm glad we did and they were right. The beach itself is beautiful, not just sand and water but the dunes in the background and even the drive itself to the beach was nice. The sand... More

Easy to access, miles of walkable sand; be alone, or be amongst many, Race Point has it all, AND, your $10 Lifetime National Park Pass (if you are over 62) gets you in free! What a country! Plenty of boats passing by, lots of seals, might even see a whale. The historic talk is worth listening to, as well. Try... More
