Great to take a walk, look at all the incoming boats and fishing trips coming back. Great benches to sit back and enjoy the scenery.

A nice place to spend the afternoon walking around. The views are pretty, but i can get a bit windy at times. If you're in the mood for some food, you can also get a good selection of typical New England fare. They do have...More

The pier which is usually packed and hopping during the summer was quite quiet when we visited in February. There were fishing boats docked at the pier and not much else. It's beautiful anytime of the year as you look out on to the Atlantic...More

We were there in late October so some of the shops had already closed for the season. But we enjoyed the lack of crowded areas and viewing the colourful fishing and pleasure boats. Of course, having a nice sunny day made it more enjoyable. It...More

I just love looking at the artwork on MacMillan Wharf. The boats being private and business are always a treat to watch come and go. The wharf is so relaxing.

We loved watching the sunrise, then roamed around & took photos of the fishing boats with the great reflections in the water. Late took a whale watching ride & saw wonderful whales

We felt we were immediately absorbed into the blood stream of Provincetown by the hive of activity along the wharf. There was a mixture of tourists, boat owners, taxi drivers and fisherman all mingling togeher in the daytime heat which was in the 80's.

This pier is a mixture of recreational and commercial activity. There are whale-watching trips available, together with ferries and sport-fishing trips. The whole pier is busy with all sorts of activities, and with people strolling along in the sunshine. Its a great place to people-watch.

I don't believe that there is swimming next to the wharf. You may have to go to the other side of the Cape for that. There are small beaches close by that you can sit and sun bath at.

Yes, located right beside the ferry going to Boston (very end of the pier, farthest away from the land). It was inexpensive, about $4-5 and they allow you to go in and out of your luggage.
