Wining, dining, shopping!

We spent four days in the area and didn't have a single bad meal! Amazing cocktails at every restaurant we had dinner in.

This is the main drag in Provincetown and it's a delight to experience. Ice cream, fudge and tee shirts, of course. But also a variety of eclectic shops, coffee, good restaurants and just great street life and people watching. Like the wharf in San Francisco, it's just a fun place to hang out.

We strolled down Commercial Street, entranced by its charm from a bygone era, in the morning before boarding a boat to watch whales in their feeding ground off of Provincetown. What a delight to stroll past independently owned restaurants and stores unique to this seaside village with nary a big-box in sight.

A very casual, artsy small town with interesting shops, eateries, galleries and bars where you can discover a lot. Great for hanging around and enjoy the summer vibe. People are welcomed and warm. The only Uber driver is talky and was a band member. Great place for friends hanging around.

Fun place to spend the day looking through the shops and eating in the restaurants with a few breaks at sitting at the picnic tables and watching the boats. It's a beautiful village. Make sure you check out the alley that has Bob Gassoi's paintings that were rescued from deterioration and that used to adorn Commercial Street. They'll get you... More

Once you get to Provincetown, you've reached the end of the line (think Key West). Commercial Street is the main street here with some lovely residential properties mixed in with individual shops & restaurants. One thing to mention; car parking can be a problem & they seem to charge what they like on weekends when the price goes up substantially.... More
