Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

First of all, let me say this: I have a lot of experience with Taffy. Making it, buying it and eating it. Their taffy was okay to eat but don’t buy it unless you don’t mind having your hands a sticky mess. I couldn’t get the taffy out of the paper without leaving a good portion of it on the wrapper. So, I thought it was too warm. I brought it home and put it in the refrigerator. It still made a mess so I used a knife to carefully scape it off the paper - still made a mess but okay, I’m home so I unwrap them all put them on a plate and wash my hands. Now I try to get it off the plate and it still leaves quite a bit on the plate. I should have just given up and thrown it away but I hate to waste money so I ate it, like I said before, it was okay, not the best I’ve had and it had a slight soap taste to it. If you want taffy maybe try buying it one of the many other places that sells it in Provincetown.

Really good fudge, offered in several flavors. Taffy I'm about every flavor under the sun that's really good. You can buy a box of the flavors you want for $10. The box is like the size of a Crackerjack box.

Some of the freshest and best tasting taffy we've had anywhere. Lots of flavors to choose from. Wish we'd bought even more.

Everything about this place makes me feel as though I walked straight into the 1950s. Vibrant colors, vintage lettering, and old-time decor/setup all stand out upon entering the store. I love the logo (font + drawing) printed onto their bags, and the fudge was rich and classic. A true gem!

In my teens I worked a few summers at a place on the beach that made salt water taffy, so I always try to buy some when I can find it. Cabot Candy had bin after bin of lovely salt water taffy, and I could pick and choose to my heart's content. I think I wound up with about 3 lbs., and did some extensive sampling before I even got home. They also had NECCO wafers, which are very, very hard to find, so I stocked up on them. Loads of other delicious candy, but I tried to show some restraint.

Every time I visit PTown, Cabot’s has always been the must visit and buy something place, even if I only have space enough on myself for something tiny. Their fudge variety is beyond amazing and always a delight.
