Visiting the Pilgrim Monument is free, outdoors and a must do when strolling the town of Provincetown. Easy access just off the main street. Worth a close look at the detailed stonework built in 1907/1910 and detail of the monument that tells an important historical story and is part of American History. Parking in the municipal lots is free off... More

We went for the views from the tower. The museaum was a bit plain and didn't hold my interest. Friendly staff though.

I visited on 10/27/2016 and really enjoyed the tower and the museum, which is included in the admission. The tower is relatively easy to climb as it is mainly ramps and some stairs. Once at the top you do get a spectacular view. It is worth the effort. The museum contains various historical artifacts and some odd items. I thought... More

My intention was to merely climb to the top of the monument and take a look around the town. After all, if you're in Provincetown, you're drawn to it like a moth to a flame. Oh yeah, and spend a couple of minutes in what appears to be a storage space spruced up to look like a museum. The tower... More

We were here in September and getting into Provincetown and back out was almost as bad as driving through Boston! So really can't say anything about the monument or museum because there was no chance of our seeing it.

Great Attraction! We learned so much and the views were great. Burt at the cash register was entertaining. My only wish was an elevator to take me to the top!!

I was in Provincetown . ... recovering from my NYC Marathon the week before. This was my first run on a cool day up to the Monument. What a nice run .... and really not too steep.

The monument is well known for the scenic views across Provincetown and down Cape Cod. The museum is well worth a visit. It includes some interest displays about P-town's own artic explorer Donald Baxter Macmillan who made 31 trips into the artic with Admiral Peary and on his own. The museum also showcases life in the early settlement of Provincetown... More
