My husband and I went with several friends to see the musical, Company, at the Barrington Stage in Pittsfield tonight. I know the theater has impressed me with productions of Man of La Mancha, the Pirates of Penzance, and most recently Ragtime. I was floored...More

Though the lack of compassion, cooperation and altruism in staff was clear, the show was fun, the seats were reasonably priced with good views, and the ease of entering/exiting was adequate. Located in somewhat slummy surroundings, a day time show added to a sense of...More

We have seen several shows at Barrington Theater and always been amazed at the quality of the productions. The most recent "Ragtime" was a surprise, excellent and heart breaking at the same time. Among others to remember was the intense "The Chosen " and, being...More

We enjoyed a tremendous evening at the current production of Stephen Sondheim's "Company". A comfortable, intimate theater with an excellent cast and orchestra made it an exceptional evening.

The shows put on by the Barrington Stage Company are the equal of many shows we've seen on Broadway. Performers are exceptional, stage settings are first rate, and shows appeal to a wide audience. Last year we saw the best Pirates of Penzance we have...More

Just saw both this week. THIS was MY FAVORITE. EXCELLENT THEATER AND EASY TO view. COMPANY was delightful and had great performers but the story line was a bit repetitive for us.

Sat in the very last row and had a great view of the stage! We saw "Company" and it was first rate. All the actors were so talented with experience on Broadway. Absolutely loved it.

The Barrington Stage in Pittsfield did a wonderful job in casting and producing Sondheim's Company. Last year Barrington State did an excellent production of the G&S classic Pirates of Penazance. Difficult to do these old productions to keep them fresh, new and appealing. Barringstage has...More
